Henna hair colour is a pure, natural product made from the leaves of different plants. The Lawsonia leaf produces red color, the Indigoferae leaf produces dark shades and the Cassia is used to condition the hair and remains neutral. Plant dyes tend to have a bit of an "earthy" or "organic" smell for a few washes or 1-2 days; take 1-2 drops (maximum) of essential oil (jasmine is nice) in the palm of your hands and run your fingers through your hair.
